Annie Rencher, FSCU Board Member
HR GENERALIST AT UNIVERSITY OF UTAH HEALTH
Annie Rencher is an HR Generalist with University of Utah Health and brings a strong background in human resources, nonprofit administration, and community engagement. Previously, she served as Human Resources Manager for Community Action Services and Food Bank in Provo, where she supported programs serving individuals and families experiencing poverty, domestic violence, and emergency situations. Through her work, she developed a deep understanding of the challenges families face and the importance of connecting them with meaningful resources and support.
Annie's professional experience includes human resources, recruitment, policy development, compliance, fundraising, volunteer engagement, and nonprofit operations. She has organized community events and fundraising initiatives, recruited staff and volunteers, and administered Arbinger Institute trainings focused on de-escalation, communication, and healthy boundaries. Her experience working with individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds has strengthened her ability to approach challenges with empathy while maintaining sound organizational practices and regulatory compliance.
Driven by both professional and personal experience, Annie is passionate about helping families access the resources they need to achieve safety, stability, and long-term success. She believes education, community collaboration, and effective policies are essential to preventing crises and strengthening families. Her firsthand understanding of the challenges individuals face when leaving unhealthy relationships further fuels her commitment to Family Support Centers of Utah's mission.
As a member of the Board of Directors, Annie would bring expertise in nonprofit operations, human resources, governance, policy development, fundraising, and community outreach.
