Sid Young, Ph.D. is a Rehabilitation Neuropsychologist and former US Army (Active Duty/Army Reserve) and Army National Guard (ARNG) Chaplain/Lieutenant Colonel (LTC). Dr. Sid served his country, fellow Soldiers, and Families from 1986 through 2007 as an US Army Chaplain. Professionally, Dr. Sid has taught at the High School and University levels, while maintaining a private psychology and consulting practice. He has taught at Brigham Young University, Cornell University and Southern Utah University Institute of Religion.
Dr. Sid is the founder of Premier Psychological Counseling and Consulting, PC (Premier PCC) and Premier TMS. He has consulted with corporate, business, and community leaders to improve organizational and individual performance. He has extensive experience treating children, adolescents and adults suffering from Personality Disorders, Depression, Bi-Polar Disorder, Anxiety, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). He has experience in treating physical, emotional, sexual, and psychological trauma within civilian and military environments.
Dr. Young was formerly the inpatient Rehabilitation Psychologist on the Neuro Specialty Rehabilitation Unit at Dixie Regional Medical Center, Intermountain Healthcare. Dr. Sid is the past President of the Utah Psychological Association. He is the past volunteer Disaster Mental Health Director for the American Red Cross, Southern Utah Chapter, a member of the Utah State Critical Incident Stress Management Team and the Medical Reserve Corps. Dr. Sid is married to Kris Ann Lundberg Young. They have six children and 26 grandchildren who keep them young in their heart and spirit.
